Road Closures for Rivafest

Council is closing River Street, Cherry Street and Fawcett Street for Ballina Rivafest to be held on Sunday 18 November 2007.

River Street will be closed between Cherry Street and Moon Street from the hours of 6.00am to 11:00pm on Sunday 18 November 2007. During Rivafest, traffic will be diverted via Moon Street, Tamar Street and Cherry Street during the period of the road closure.

Cherry Street south of River Street will be closed between 5:00pm Saturday the 17 November 2007 and 11:00pm on Sunday 18 November 2007.

Fawcett Street will be closed between Moon Street and Fawcett Lane between 6.00am and 11:00pm on Sunday 18 November 2007.

Fawcett Street and Cherry Street south of Fawcett Street will be open to local traffic displaying an identity permit only.

Permits to identify local traffic will be available to local residents only. Permits are available by contacting Caroline Breen on 6686 3484.
